Rib-Tide
The session explored side-body and back expansion through breathwork amplified by strategic vibration, beginning with a banded Galileo warmup to map how different frequencies shape movement and rib engagement. After undulation drills, shoulder flossing, rotational sequences, and lumbar-to-thoracic wall slides, the class transitioned into a bolster-mounted Galileo setup to alter how vibration traveled through the pelvis, adductors, and ribs. Students worked through weighted thigh rotation, side-bending, lizard-style adductor exploration, quad-to-IT-band cross-angles, diagonal rippling waves, and split-position dural-flossing before shifting into high-hip draping for deep back-body breath expansion. The latter portion focused on rib-cage decompression while draped over the bolster in multiple vectors, followed by hip and glute massage patterns, scissoring, pendulum swings, resisted leg spirals, and a vibration-enhanced happy baby to close, leaving the whole system lighter, more spacious, and markedly freer in rotation.
