Sliding Cores
Sliding Cores is a lateral-driven core repatterning class that uses asymmetry, rotation, and vibration to restore coherence through the pelvis, ribs, spine, and feet. Beginning with half-roller foot and quad preparation on the Galileo, the class explores angled pelvic tilts, hip circles, and rib-breath to free lateral lines and clarify spinal organization. Weighted and unweighted Jefferson curls are layered in multiple foot and leg orientations to segment the spine, mobilize neural tissue, and integrate breath with load. Floor-based step-through lunges and pelvic wave patterns then translate these changes into gravity-based movement, followed by slanted side-body work to open the ribs and complete the lateral reset. The class emphasizes curiosity over correction, using sensation, breath, and vibration as feedback to allow the nervous system to reorganize itself into a more resilient, spacious, and responsive center.
